Before SD650 is applied
This old box gutter was in lead but unfortunately started to leak, as the lead had split in several places The customer wanted a long term solution, so it was decided that the box gutters
would be lined with the new SD650 systen. To strip the old lead out was not an option as this would open the roof up to the weather but the SD650 flat roofing system is perfect. The correct primers can be applied directly over the old lead, saving the cost and the inconvenience of removing the lead.
After SD650 is applied
This is how the box gutter looks now we have lined it with the SD650 system. As you can see it looks clean and tidy. One of the advantages of the system is that it’s also very bright and reflects the sun.
